Lizzy's Here!!!

My baby sister is here visiting from Utah and we've been having lots of fun together. It's been like old times and I'm so glad she's here. She's only here for a week, but I was able to take some time off work to hang out with her. Here are some pictures from our family time on Sunday.

Lizzy and Bryleigh:

Birthday Celebrations

We celebrated Dad and Chris' birthday's on Saturday at the lake. We had a great time and enjoyed Jason's hospitality with his boat and our huge inflatable island. Most of the family was there and it was nice and hot. Most of us ended up sun burned but we still had an awesome time!!

Think happy thoughts

I had my 4th IUI today, so everyone think good thoughts. The doc is optimistic with how I responded to the Clomid. I guess we'll find out how it went in 2 weeks.

Happy Birthday Chris!!!

It's Chris' 32nd birthday and I just wanted to take a moment and celebrate him. He's my best friend and I'm so glad that I married him. Chris has brought so much joy to my life and we've shared more laughs then I can count. Thank you for 7 wonderful years and I can't wait to spend many more with you. Happy Birthday lovey!!

Here are a few things about him:
- He's a huge Spurs fan!
- He loves everything electronic; TV's, stereo stuff, video games and car audio
- He's a total Sci-Fi nerd
- He wants nothing more then to have the fastest car and race it again
- He's an excellent sales man and is very passionate about what he loves
- He loves all animals and would do anything for our dogs and cat (including giving Buddy mouth to mouth)
- He loves to play video games and is really good at it
- He works hard to provide for his family
- He would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need
- He loves to make everyone happy and isn't afraid to be silly

Here are some pictures from his past. (Sorry about the pictures, the camera is having some issues.)

Weekend fun

Here are some pictures from this weekend with my niece and nephews. We baby sat Bradley most of the day on Saturday and had a great time at the pool. On Sunday my Mom and I watched Bryce and Bryleigh for a few hours and had fun playing with them. I love having them live so close so I can see them so often.

Here we go again...

Well, we've officially started fertility treatments again. I started taking Clomid on Saturday and I guess there's no going back. I have to say I'm a little more anxious this time around, even though I've already done this 3 times. I guess it's because we finally have a good chance that this might work and we could really become parents in 9 months! Or, it's because I have done this before and yet, here we are 7 months after we started treatments, still getting treatments. For now, all I can do is enjoy the heat flashes the Clomid causes and wait until next week for the next IUI. Maybe this one will work.........

For those of you wondering about that wonderful infection........ it's finally healed! It only took 2 weeks of oozing for it to heal, but it's done.

Happy 4th of July!!

This is a little late, but we had a pretty busy weekend. We had a fun 4th, complete with a parade, pools, playing with the kids, barbeque's, more swimming, fireworks, and more playing. Chris spent most of his time helping Dad in shop while I did most of the playing and swimming. It was great to have an extra day off work too! Both Bryce and Bradley loved the fireworks and cheered after each one. Overall, we had a pretty good weekend. I had my camera with me, but forgot to take pictures. I'm hoping one of my sis in-laws did so I can post some.

I also wanted to take a moment and say how grateful I am to live in a free country and have the freedoms we do. I'm also very grateful for those who have and those who continue to give their lives so we can keep our freedoms. I have a great sense of pride for our country and I've very patriotic. I hope everyone takes a moment to
thank those that sacrifice so much for us live the way we do!!
